the universe tries to teach you things. It has tried many times to teach me certain things.
I am not a good listener.
So the universe had to slap me upside the head and make me sit in a corner and think about what I've done.
My mantras for the next few months come from Quinn: "Deal with it, get over it, get counseling," and Jrue: "Suck it up and do something."
There's a story behind this post... but it's somewhat boring. Basically I can't pay for school and need one more class for my English degree, two more for my Theater degree. I don't want to call my parents to ask them to cosign, because they gave me money and I didn't budget properly (bought vespa and too much food). Whatever. If I can't figure it out I don't deserve a college degree, right?
Honestly, damn near most of the college students I know are in the same position. Ask your parents. Or grandparents. You're so close to being done. Everyone "doesn't budget properly". I have 36 pairs of boots for sobbing out loud, but my parents still kept signing tuition checks. Just try...you never know until you try!
Either that or start stripping.

If you say so.
What VV said. Your parents are your parents. Believe it or not, a LOT of people fuck up with money. Just ask them for some help, and I'm sure they'd be willing to do it.
Think about it this way. Would your parents be more pissed to hear that you need money because you were a bit shortsighted with spending, or that you deferred study/dropped out off this close to the end?

I'd reckon you should at least tell your parents, I get the impression you haven't...

selfcentered guy
MOMMIES AND DADDIES ARE THERE TO CODDLE THEIR LITTLE BABBIES!!!!
Honestly, mistakes always happen, and while some things aren't NEEDED, the early twenties are the years where we should be fucking up, so we can see it happen and fix it for the times when we should really know our shit. That, and it's one more term, and let me tell you, deferring study is a bad idea. I'm the poster child of that one.

Food for thought
Just because they cosign doesn't mean they have to pay off the loan entirely. And even if you do, you can pay them back over time.
*resists urge to make cosine joke*

If you say so.
Haha I thought of 'cosine' when I read 'cosign' in my head! Woot. . . except I'm not math-y at all lol.
...Seriously? If you finish your degree it's the most rewarding thing your parents can have. Ask them, they will help you, and when you finish school you can pay them back slowly.
I've been feeling like I need to be independent, though recently I've been hurting for money. I work hard in school, I pull extra shifts at my three jobs, and sometimes I have to let go of my "I'm about to graduate, I should be an adult" pride and ask my mom for help.
You deserve a college degree even if you can't figure it out alone. This problem that you're facing is not just yours. There are larger patterns of credit card and student loan debt that are outside of people's control sometimes. You can't blame all of this on yourself. So instead of beating yourself up for poor budgeting and astronomical college/living expenses, do what needs to be done.
